Siku Maboroshi Siku had been growing rather distressed from his current occupation as Fuku-Taichou and acting-Taichou of the Sanbantai, with the loss of two of their greatest and most loyal Shinigami ever to step foot in the barracks. It gave Siku a sense of belonging, walking the the same halls as these two. They were exceptionally talented Shinigami, and they held firm belief in the Sanbantai, bringing to it the potential that was needed from their Division.
However now that Siku was in charge, he had no real idea how to make things run smoothly. He was beginning to work himself into the ground, losing his sanity. Falling into a depressed state, Siku jumped at the chance to get some fresh air, someplace far away from Seireitei and his worries.
He came to the world of the living to cleanse his mind of all worries and troubles, but with what exactly? With a flicker of his feet, Siku moved from up in the sky, exiting the Senkaimon gate he had just traveled through. He utilized his Shunpo to get to a distance of about one story high above the ground at a nearby park. He could sense a Hollow's presence, and soon he noticed a rustling in the forest's trees.
Taking hold of his Zanpakuto, Siku unsheathed both of them, holding one in each hand. As the noise of his Zanpakuto sliding out from their sheaths, the Hollow jumped up towards Siku, roaring and tongue flailing about with saliva and enzymes swirling about it's jaw and teeth. Siku brought his Zanpakuto in an X-shape before the Hollow's opened jaw, and sliced his way through it with ease. It was a rather puny Hollow, not very capable of taking up plenty of Siku's time. Sheathing his Zanpakuto, Siku looked to his left and noticed the human suburbs. He could hear kids playing video games with an open window, loud sounds of gunfire sounding off.
Swinging his head to his right, Siku noticed a flowing river. Feeling like he could use a drink, Siku made his second Shunpo to appear before the river. Kneeling down slowly, Siku cupped his hands together and began to drink the crystal clear water.
" I really do need a break from all this worrying... "

Kaya sighed as she stared out into the sky. She realized that by joining the Vandenreich she'd be ordered to do things she wouldn't agree with, but she had to comply. She just wanted to be with her fellow Quincy and to destroy the Hollow. Attacking the Shinigami was the right thing to do, but she was still human. She pitied them even after what they did if only because she knew that the Quincy Vengeance would be a harsh and malevolent one.
She stared down at the unknowning Shinigami beneath her feet. Now that she was closer he'd know that she was around, and he'd prepare to fight her. She had no idea who was stronger, but he was part of the Gotei 13. He'd go down punching and kicking like any proud soldier would. That was something Kaya knew about well; pride. The pride of defending and fighting your people. Protecting others and the pride of your rank and strength. The pride of being Stern Ritter "B" Kaya Atsuki.
Cracking her neck and all of her fingers the determination was clear in her eyes. Letting her Quincy Cross fall out of her sleeve, she summoned her Spirit Weapon. Taking the form of an energy sword with several trailing behind it, she readied her Heleig Pfeil. The fight, if it was her way, would be quick and painless. No reason for the Shinigami to suffer the way he had made her people suffer; she was the bigger person.
The arrows ready, she unleashed a hailstorm of arrows from her weapon before gripping the hilt and using her Hirenkyaku to charge down on him. It was a simple strategy really, he could either play pincushion to her arrows or be bisected by her weapon. Though, even in all of her cockiness, she prepared for the chance of him escaping and attempting to counter-attack. His sealed zanpakuto would be no problem because of her blut. But if he had a Shikai then he could be a problem. Though, with a malicious grin, she hoped he had a Bankai. It would be nice to test out the medallion her Majesty had given her.

Siku Maboroshi Siku noticed the noise of spiritual energy manifesting behind him, upwards even. He could tell there was something being fired at him from behind, and a spiritual presence was making itself aware to the man dressed in black. His head and body shot up from his previous kneeling position, shooting forward in a hurried frenzy as his robes fluttered behind him, a projectile of some kind tearing into the blackened linens. As he burst forward roughly 10 yards forward, Siku slid to a stop on his wooden sandals. He didn't have time to evaluate, but he knew his robes would need replaced when he got back home. Tearing off the upper garments, Siku revealed the black bandages he had wrapped around his torso, keeping the lower section of his black robes intact.
Shifting himself around, Siku looked back to see who had been daring enough to attack him. He saw it was a female; attractive one at that. But she wielded a sword of some kind, and Siku looked back at the trail of arrows marking their way towards him; the target.
" Wow, a guy can't even catch a break when he needs one. What's up with that!? "
His hands laid at both of his hips, clenching his two swords with a firm grip. Drawing them out again, Siku hesitated to release his Zanpakuto. He felt some sort of need to do it, but he wasn't in the mood for fighting. Why exactly did she attack him anyway? That's when it hit him.
Could it be a Quincy?!
Siku couldn't exactly tell, but he had a gut feeling. Nobody except a Quincy would make such a robust move on a Shinigami. Not unless they were extremely curious or ballsy. Looking towards his assailant, Siku inquired for the purpose of her attack as she began closing the distance. She made haste with the delivery of her assault, and Siku felt unfurled, unsettled. He wanted relaxation, and now he was dodging an attacker.
" Why do you strike at me?! "
With that, Siku stood with his swords held forward, the one in his right hand horizontal with the edge of the blade pointing towards his attacker, while the left stood vertically, it's edge facing her as well.

She scoffed as the man foolishly asked for a break. What were they in grade school? Did he want her to stop attacking so he could have time to think of a plan? How childishly naive of him to think that talking to her in the middle of an attack would prove worthy. Scowling she watched as he sat there in a defensive stance. Did the fact that she had fired her arrows at him not phase him? Thinking that he was mocking her, and by extension her strength, he had struck a chord with her pride.
Skidding to a stop she prepared her Heleig Pfeil again and fired off about another hundred arrows at him, before using her Hirenkyaku to close the distance between them. Arrows from the air and arrows to his front. If he dodged correctly he could end up away from her, but if he got near her she wouldn't hesitate to scrape off the top of his head.
"I strike because it's an order from his majesty. Now die!" she screeched at the Shinigami.
Gripping her weapon tightly she stared at the man with his bandages and his wavering attitude. Seeing that he sat there with unreleased zanpakuto seem to only make her even more angry than she was before. Was he so cocky that he thought he could take her on without even releasing his shikai?
Her eyes shooting daggers at him she maliciously grinned as the arrows closed in from the two spots she had fired them from.
"Oh the arrogance. Facing me without releasing a shikai? You certainly do know how to attack a persons pride," she called out casually as she hoped that the arrows would skewer him.

Siku Maboroshi Siku noticed another barrage of arrows headed his way, she really had some fire in her. Almost like the Hollow he had just dealt with, she attacked with a merciless swift behavior. She did speak at least, and she said something about a majesty. So there was some sort of leader behind her? She had a reason to attack Shinigami because of this guy? Who in the hell did they think they were? Even Siku didn't know, but he wanted to assume something so that he didn't delay to long thinking about it. Not to mention the arrows were quite distinct to the description in the Shinigami libraries. Quincy it is.
A swift flicker of his feet, and a Shunpo brought Siku's image to his right, the incoming arrows collapsing down on earth as he made a near escape. A stray arrow clipped his left shoulder on the top, mostly cosmetic flesh damage. It bled lightly, and was no more than a few centimeters deep.
" ...Creep, Shukkō Shutsugen. "
Siku's two Zanpakuto morphed into their Shikai appearance, having a more intense look to them. They were his favorite weapons to fight with, his enthusiasm for other means of combat dwindling. Most of all, as a Shingami, especially a Fuku-Taichou, Siku wanted to achieve his Bankai. But such a thing was impossible, only legendary figures of the Seireitei were known to possess such might. The swing of their Zanpakuto rendered planes to rubble. IT was a dream, something to hold hope for.
" Is there any way we can avoid conflict? Who did you lose that makes me such a threat? I haven't meant to raise my blade to you yet, only to defend myself. Am I really such an enemy to you? "
Siku was halfhearted about fighting this female. Not only was he just feeling fairly lazy, but she was a human. Siku may have been a reclusive Shinigami, but he wasn't thoughtless or cold. He held human life as a great thing, something that shouldn't be wasted. She should be trying to live to her fullest extent. Not entertaining herself with each Shinigami that arrived into the world of the living.

With a blink of the eye he had vanished, her arrows missing him narrowly. Clicking her tongue she frowned with sadness, hoping that her arrows would pierce him and she could take his corpse back home. Staring at him, she grinned as she noticed that her arrows had at least clipped him. Her efforts thus far weren't wasted, which was a rather beautiful thing to behold.
But as she looked, something had caught her eyes. Something around his arm that looked familiar, and it bugged her because she felt like she should know what it was. Confused, she tapped a button on the transmitter in her ear.
"Stern Ritter B reporting in. What is the level of spiritual pressure on my enemy?" she called in, despite feeling his spiritual pressure she couldn't categorize it. She had no prior experience with Shinigami, she only had the Daten.
Within a few moments, and various clicking later, the voice buzzed in her ear confirming her suspicions; lieutenant. She scowled now, because that made her job a lot harder. Not only did she now have to fight with a lieutenant level Shinigami, but she most likely had to bring him back to base alive for his Majesty. Why was being a Quincy so difficult?
Taking off her jacket she stretched, and then snapped her attention back to him as he released his shikai. His twin zanpakuto certainly did take on a more menacing appearance, worrying her. But as he begged for the conflict to be avoided, and asking what he had done wrong, she couldn't help but laugh him.
"What deplorable ignorance, you massacred my people. Avoid conflict? Sure, stay down when I hit you." and with that she was gone.
Using her hirenkyaku she would appear behind him, then to his left, then back to her starting location in the sky. Sighing she brought her sword to her face and carefully formed a heleig pfeil. This one wouldn't be focused on numbers, it would be focused on power. Forming 5 strong arrows, she shot them at him and then awaited his next move.

Siku Maboroshi Siku listened to the lady as she laughed and then gave an answer. She seemed to think all Shinigami were guilty of killing Quincy, as if every single one of them should hold the consequence for the ordeal that happened many a years ago. Was she seriously mourning, or was that just her excuse to follow her "majesty's" orders? With his Zanpakuto in their same positioning, the Quincy girl appeared behind Siku. Spinning quicky to his right, the Zanpakuto his right hand held the bladed edge horizontally as he did a full rotation. Before it reached behind him, Siku facing the complete opposite direction of his previous stance, she had moved to what would have been his left should he stayed still.
Completing his rotation however, she appeared in the sky without making contact with his Zanpakuto. Siku smirked, she was indeed fast.
" I did no such thing, I wasn't even a Shinigami during those days. So it's you who is being ignorant, Quincy girl. "
With that Siku awaited her attack, which was now inbound. As five larger arrows were hurling themselves toward him, Siku made use of a Kido he knew impulsively. The arrows were grouped together well enough for this cone-like Hado to do it's part, and deter the arrows from striking him down.
" Hado number 58, Tenran! "
The tornado, which started from it's epicenter in front of his right fist, began spreading to grow larger and larger as it begun it's furious rotations in rapid succession of one another. Enlarging itself, it met the arrows as they were only a few feet before Siku, since she made her move first. As they cancelled each other out, Siku's robes fluttered and his visual on her was sketchy. Using his Reiatsu, Siku kept a tab on her location. She was quick to move, and Siku was being hesitant in attacking her. He wanted to see if he could tire her out, and then persuade her to retreat. She didn't deserve a death here, and neither did Siku. He practically wanted to beg and plead for her to just go away, but her persistence was unrivaled. Tech used:58. Tenran (Orchid Sky) A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards the target.

She giggled with pity as he swung at where she previously was, while hitting nothing but the dust she had left behind. She had watched her arrows closely, hoping at least one would cause impact. To her disgust, however, they were met with equal force in a kido that the Shinigami casted.
"Oh, am I? Not all of the Quincy were unwilling to cooperate with the Shinigami! Yet your kind killed them ALL!" she roared at him, her anger boiling over.
Who was he to call her ignorant? There was no reason to decimate the Quincy race. They could have easily been kept under control by the Shinigami, but they didn't want the burden of having any extra duties. So rather than do the right thing, they had massacred almost all of the Quincy. But that was the downfall, they had left one that would gather the scattered Quincy and annihilate Soul Society and Hueco Mundo.
His Majesty.
With her renewed vigor, she released her Spirit Weapon. She would try out her new technique, Blut. Using her Hirenkyaku, she got within striking distance of him. Making sure her ponytail was tight, she put up a stance and waved her hands to her.
She was inviting him to attack first, the Blut Vene ready to defend her against his blade. Using her speed she figured that she could switch to her offensive Blut and then smash his face in. Though, she had hoped not to ruff him up too much. His majesty would certainly want to see the prize she had claimed.

Siku Maboroshi Again, her anger had bested her complexion, and she seemed to lose herself in the past, the anger. If they were all taken care of, why was she still here? Why did he have to put up with a Quincy?
" My kind? You say that as if we're so different. What am I to you? A ghost? An alien? Both? Shinigami are the closest thing to a human besides another human. Yeah, I have this fancy sword, but still a heart beats inside my very chest. I have morals and codes, agenda's...even a job. And not only do I have Hollow to deal with because of that, but now an angry bloodline of which my predecessors enraged with spilled blood seem to cause me further endeavors. Not to mention, if all of your race REALLY was disposed of: As you yourself said. Why then, are you standing in my presence? It's safe to say we are both just as ignorant, Quincy girl. "
She moved closer to Siku, and then taunted him with a gesture, inviting his attack. But Siku knew that he would only be playing into her hand, her wishes. It was Siku's desire to flee, retreat, survive. But more importantly, to avoid fighting a human. Some Shinigami would confront her as a nemesis, since Quincy were depicted as such due to their inherited ability to obliterate a soul, denying it's existence.
" I won't attack you, it's not in my interests. Engage me if you must, but my sword wishes only to defend it's wielder. Not to harm my attacker. Your kind is dangerous, even more so than me. Even if I had a Bankai to fight you with, you would still be more dangerous than I. That's because you render souls to nothing. No trace, just the memories of others who knew them. And when they die, the memories die with them. It's no wonder why our people had conflict. But it is a wonder....how you stand before me. Care to tell me? "
Siku stood motionless, allowing the Quincy to do as she pleased. That was his goal, to let her be, to allow her freedom. He wouldn't infringe upon a human their right to freedom, to make their own choices. But when you looked at the blunt side of things, she was dangerous. She was a threat. And taking her down was an option. But with similar freedom, Siku had to choose. That's when a voice spoke to Siku, one familiar only to him.
What will it be? What do you think? You're being soft...as always. Siku's brow strained lightly, he didn't want this for himself. He didn't even know if he had it in him to kill her, it was difficult. Humans were his one weakness, the one thing he had no intention of doing harm to. That was what was supposed to be so great about the Quincy massacre. They should all be gone, not interrupting his previously good day.[/blockquote]

Kaya's jaw was tight, strained, angry. She was in front of him, challenging him for the pride of her people. Yet the disrespect he was showing her was discerning. If he pitied her, if he felt sorry for her, if he was disgusted by her; none of it mattered. He should then at least knock her unconscious before anything. If he did that her pride would still be intact, and she wouldn't be fuming like she was now.
She was having fun with her little assignment, but now she was just outright pissed. The very soul within her was burning hot with a righteous fury that was begging her to unleash it onto her enemy. And unleash it she would, she had no quarrels with killing the man now. Fukutaicho or not he had gone far beyond the line of acceptable dialog, and she would show him the terrible error he had made with her.
"Shinigami...say your last wishes..." she murmured to him, as she threw off her jacket.
On her right hand was a black glove with the symbol of her organization on it; Vandenreich. They had given her this glove to soar above the heavens with power, to exceed the primitive Quincy: Letz Stil. And to completely and totally decimate any Shinigami who had dared even make her use such an extreme technique.
"I was willing to bring you back to Juha Bach alive, I was. But you continue to disrespect me at every moment you possibly could. Not only does your complete and total lack of knowledge on the Massacre offend me, but so does the fact that you don't even raise a blade against me. Don't you dare pity me, you should fear me. Why am I standing in your presence? Because I was a baby when the Gotei 13 annihilated my parents, and they hid me in the human world. But...you a human? Hahaha, how ridiculous. You're a soul, a human who has died. And now, you'll simply get to die again. Vollstandich." she called out, as if it were the name of an old friend.
The circle on the gauntlet would spin marvelously before enveloping her in a pillar of light. At the top would be a replica of her Quincy Cross, until it all would dissipate and reveal her. Now with a halo in the shape of a Quincy Zeichen, wings, high heels, and a holster across her chest she stares at the Shinigami with her ominous striped eyes.
"Be purged."

Siku Maboroshi Siku watched her take off the jacket, and soon she transcended to something Siku had not seen before. She called out, " Vollstandich. ".
Her body, now illustrating something much more angelic, had acquired a new appearance and power. He could feel it, the potent energy that was resonating before him. His eyebrows quivered, a single drop of sweat trickled down his left brow and onto the ground. He was nervous, more now than ever before. This was unheard of, something Siku couldn't anticipate, along with being hard to believe. Siku looked down, his eyes lingered to the blades in hand.
I don't think I can do this Shutsugen. Then don't think. It's not that easy. Because you're making it hard. This isn't my purpose. Living to perform your duties another day is your purpose. Not if it means killing a human. They're innocent, they don't have blood on their hands. This isn't right. I won't... Then you will die a fool! With that Siku looked up at his opponent, her face, the wings, everything about her he speculated and tried to keep a detailed list of in his head. He wouldn't let her kill him, and he wouldn't kill her himself. Very much a difficult, almost impossible task, Siku took his breathes deep and relaxed, calming his nerves. His hands stopped shaking, and he was no longer sweating. Looking at her, he spoke one last time. " If you kill me, I want you to remember me, my name, this face...the one that couldn't bring their blade to meet your flesh. I am Siku Maboroshi, Fukutaichou of the Sanbantai. Quincy, your anger is justified, but your resolve is just as harsh as what the Shinigami did during that time. If you do the same as us, then we are the same. Remember that... "With that Siku had a solemn look upon his face, clenching his two Shikai Zanpakuto tightly, practically making fists. He felt regret in him, deep down there was a helplessness. There was much he began remembering in his mind, his first days at the Shinigami academy. The days after he graduated, the mourning for his dead mother, the disdain for ever becoming a Shinigami. And now it revisited his mind, plaguing him further. Mixed emotions were inside Siku, and he was being provoked to fight, to kill, or to be killed if he resisted. She could, and would do as she pleased. Siku just wished she was more friendly, maybe able to make a compromise. But she sought to murder him for a just revenge. Siku pitied himself, unable to make the hard decision of killing her as a dangerous opponent.[/blockquote]
