Haru is your average teenager who loves to play video games and listen to loud music. If you have anything dealing with techno or metal let him know, because this boy loves to rock. Though he never held any interest in starting much of a band, Haru would be more of a singer than anything. Writing lyrics is a slight hobby, though he never planned to make a carrier out of it. Actually most of the time he ends up throwing them away, only a select few he keeps in a journal in his desk. Video games, get out of here. Haru will whoop some ass against some online war games. Other games he loves are actually the old Mario games for SNES or NES. Classics are his favorites.History:
Does Haru love the ladies? What teen wouldn’t? Haru has been known to glance a few times. He will even talk to a few girls, though he does not have much luck with them. He always picks the wrong ones. Being the nice guy he is, and loyal at that, why wouldn’t they like him? Maybe because he isn’t bad boy enough. Haru already considers himself a small rebel, none to high though.
Haru refuses to steal, as he believes doing right is best. Haru is an honorable person, as he treats others how he wants to be treated. Though if someone steals from him, expect an ass whoop’n cause this boy is not one to steal from. How big of an idiot would one be to steal from him anyway? Haru is known by several street gangs. They all see him as fresh meat, or a dog that doesn’t know his place.
If it was not for his ability to increase himself physically, Haru could be in trouble. Though his natural fighting abilities prove good enough to hold off some of a few big lugs. He himself is in a gang, though its only really him and a few friends. They don’t even call themselves a gang, but will act like one. When they see one gang becoming to powerful, Haru has been known to take them down a notch. Only if they are misbehaving though.
Haru is a pretty nice fellow who loves making friends. He is rambunctious, loud at times, and will gives his friends a pat on the back and tell them “good job” for no reason. This cheery attitude gave him the nick name ‘Haru Haru’. Its common for people around the school to call him this. Its not really embarrassing, mainly because the girls think it is cute.
Does the lad hang out at the mall? Well duh. Haru loves the mall, it is actually his primary hang out, and where to meet the ladies. Care for some grub? Hell yea, Haru will spend a few extra dollars just to fill himself up. The boy has a large appitite, mainly because of his extra activities outside home and school.
What does he care about most in this world? Why is sister of course. He loves her more than anything, as she is all he has left. Do anything, be anywhere, sacrifice his own life for her even. There is very little he would not do. They get along very well, though do have brotherly sister arguments. Unknown to Haru, but his sister is in love with him deeply. While he has no knowedge of this love, it is possible Haru could even fall for his sister the same way.
What of shinigami and hollow? Haru holds little knowledge of shinigami. Unknown what they are, other than they 'reap souls' and fight hollow. He calls them 'reapers'. Often he may see one running about facing a hollow. While he has tried speaking with them he has always been unable. As for hollow Haru hates them, as he would anything or anyone that tries harming his sister. They are monsters and deserve to die.
Haru was born into a loving normal family. There was really nothing abnormal about his family. His father drank and smoked, and his mother talked on the phone a lot and spent her time shopping or spending time with friends. Haru’s sister was somewhat normal, there was always something strange about her. Unable to place what it was, Haru ignored it as a small child. She was always talking to the air, unknowing to him it was shinigami and other spirits. Much like his sister, Haru would soon discover his own ability to communicate with the afterlife.Offense: Intermediate
Growing up Haru had a few friends, namely his sister. Now why might this be? She was three years older than he was, had some in common, and they were sister and brother. They did fight, like any siblings would, and Rena did anything Haru wanted. Rather is playing guns, hide and seek, or samurai. One may ask why though? Well when Haru was five him and Rena were at a play ground. This ten year old was messing with his sister, hitting on her. Rena pushed him away but she only was pushed down herself. Now if something did not snap in Haru the moment his own big sis got shoved down, he may not be the person he is today. That moment Haru went and head butted the meany. In turn his ass was handed to him. Refusing to allow his sister to be hurt Haru tried standing up but couldn’t. unable to see her brother in pain Rena hit the boy. with a Spirit Ball. It was enough to make him pass out, and after Rena kicked him in the nads.
The years pass, Rena and Haru lost both their parents. It was a tragic story really, both somehow died from unexpected causes. Like their very life had been drained from their bodies. Rena knew the truth, it was a strange hollow that could suck souls right from their bodies. Rena was unable to defeat the hollow, because she was busy hiding herself with Haru. She feared with Haru’s growing energy the hollow may sense them, lucky for her someone else held higher reiatsu than both of them. Rena never knew what became of the hollow nor the soul it consumed.
A few months later Rena and Haru found themselves living in a new town with their foster parents. The young couple could not have any children. As their new mother was unable to bare. Haru was upset by his parents passing and wanted to know the truth. Something about how Rena acted never seemed right, but he never questioned her.
During one night when Haru and Rena snuck out they found themselves attacked by a hollow. Rena of course knew of these vial creatures, but never fought one. Times before she saw shinigami protected her. With none near Rena grabbed the frozen Haru and ran. Back within reality Haru managed to keep up with his sister. Driven into an ally, Rena tried throwing her Spirit Balls at him. High damage was not expected, as it only ticked off the beast. Now doesn’t this just suck? With no where to run, Rena used her Explosion Ball and forced the hollow to run.
What was going on? This night was so strange, was it a dream? It had to be since monsters were chasing them. That’s right not one, but two did that night. Rena could not spare another Explosion Ball. If she did then it would be her life. One Explosion Ball per day, that was her quota. Gritting her teeth, she found it the only way. That night Haru nearly lost his sister. If not for a nearby women who saw an explosion, and carried them both to the hospital, then both might had died.
Ok, now can someone imagine waking up from a horrible nightmare as a kid and not wet the bed? While being ten, Haru might be a bit old for that but Rena did not mock him what so ever. Nor did the nurses that aided Haru and changed his sheets. Though for him it was slightly embarrassing. Around this time Haru found himself talking to some spirits walking around. He didn’t know what they were. The spirits thought they were alive, in truth denial. Thinking he was crazy, the doctors did tests on his brain.
After a week in intensive care Haru was allowed to see Rena. Worried for her safety, Haru told her he would never allow anything to harm her again. This was about as dramatic as drama could get. Holding her, tears rolling about, and saying “I’m sorry” over and over again. Rena only smiled and thought it wonderful of her brother to care for her so much, though she was mainly happy he himself was alive and well.
Now some stories may have some sort of happy ending here, or maybe Haru will beg to help her and she refuses, causing all sorts of crap to happens. Then Haru unlocks his powers and goes to save her ass. Yea, that’s not happening. Actually Rena eventually will help Haru gain his powers, though for now she was to damn worried about his ass. After all he just got attacked, and she knows if she trains him then it will only attract more hollow to him. As she gets some on her loli ass now and then. It was slightly already to late for that, as now and then hollow attacked the two. Yea it wasn’t just Rena anymore, Haru was under attack now.
Starting off Haru could not do much, seeing how his powers had yet to awaken. At most he could do is pour reiatsu into his fists and give the hollow a ‘how do you do? Now fuck off’ strait in the face. Haru never seemed to hold much talent for his spiritual abilities, as all he could do for what seemed years is punch super hard. Hey, at least when he got in fights none stood against his blows. Haru was known for his one two punch knock outs.
Hollow came and went, as the siblings grew, so did their powers. Haru found a nifty trick. The ability to create swords. Always found of weaponry, Haru seemed closest to swords than any thing else in this world. His ability came to him when actually just thinking about swords, he focused on drawing one and there, it just happened.
Even though Haru understands some basis for this technique, he doesn’t understand its true ability. Now arriving in Karakura, the pair of siblings live alone. A year ago their foster parents were killed by a murderer. Wanting revenge and justice Haru set out to find the perp, though he was stopped by his own sister. It was around this time when Haru vowed to protect anyone he could from hollow.

How he came about his powers could be a few possible reasons. One being the hollows that come around his sister often, due to her high reiryoki. And since she is always around Haru he is affected by their high spiritual pressure.Base Powers:
Creation of Swords: Haru’s base ability that can one day become one of the most powerful abilities known to all races. While it holds potential, Haru himself has to unlock this potential and understand the true nature of Creation of Swords. The very foundation of this ability relies upon Haru’s imagination. Haru himself holds the ability to create swords from mere thought. By visualizing what the blade looks like, and solidification of his reiryoku, the sword will form. While the solidification may seem outright insane, it is in fact a byproduct of his own that is connected to Creation of Swords. Each creation takes seconds to make, and is generally as strong, or slightly stronger, than steel. Currently only a few swords can be created every few hours, and they take a between minor to moderate drain. It depends on the duriblity of the weapon, as well size. Each lasts a few hours before vanishing.Spiritual Powers, First Stage:
Physical Enhancement: Also known as Spirit Punch. A real generic name honestly, though Haru couldn’t come up with anything better. It was that or “Super awesome punch of justice.” yea, he went with the shorter version. Haru is extremely skilled in increasing his own physical attributes by focusing spiritual energy into his body. Thus increasing his running speed to about twenty miles per hour. He keep up with shinigami in terms of agility, of equal rank, in this case he could dodge attacks. When most of his energy is focusing into just his fists, Haru is able cause great harm to those of equal rank. A strong enough could even crack a hollows mask. Higher ranks it may end in bad bruise, lower ranks broken bones possibly. If tested against an object, his punches could dent metal or knock small trees down. Haru has been known to break his hands before or strain his muscles with extended use.
Strengthen: An extension of Enhancement. By flowing a moderate amount of reiryoki a into an object it's durability/cutting ability substantially heightens. Currently Haru can only Strengthen certain materials, as his current skill will not allow for anything greater. Though Strengthened, each object still holds its own natural weight or flexibility. Sadly no creations made by Haru can be Strengthened.
- Cloth: Becomes durable as hard wood.
- Wood: Becomes durable as tampered steel, sharp objects may cut like a normal sword.
- Metal: Durability slightly heightened, cutting power increased enough to cut into hollow of equal rank.
Twin Swords: This pair of finely crafted blades hold greater durability than most swords. They may last a few strikes against sealed zanpaktou before cracking. Just one sword takes three times as much to make a regular word, so making two at once means six. Not only are each durable, but they seem to hold enough cutting force to cut into steel with hard enough swings.
Haru has yet to understand his current powers to their fullest extent. While he may have access to these powers, he holds no true idea what he is true capable of thus they are locked away.Spiritual Powers, Second Stage:

[glow=white,1,300] How should people handle obstacles they can not overturn? Often the smart idea is giving up. Though what if the person is in a fight he can not win? Well now one could continue, despite knowing their ass is soon grass. What is the worst that could happen? Perhaps embarrassment and a stripping of reputation, or hopefully at most a broken arm. Worse possibilities lead towards the hospital if not six feet under. In these situations someone might run. Stupidity and stubbornness often lead in such directions, yet should someone run if protecting whom he cares about?
Faced with opposing forces greater in number than one. He who faced many, and him only few. Should the boy run? Any sane person might. Mentality often proved a valuable asset. Politeness held powerful way of speech . Ask politely and perhaps they may stop. Not everyone listened, reason far from their grasp. White sneakers grind against asphalt. Pace self inch by inch in direction opposite from where opposition comes. Saliva found passage down windpipe. When will the attack take place? All at once or one by one? Auburn specials took note. Numbers held five. Burly men, were they seniors? One was known to be in the jujitsu club, and another from kendo. Out of any of course he was the only whom held weapon. Should this boy of fourteen nervous?
11:15am was a bit early for a fight. Daily rounds were not until later. “Sorry bro.” “No sweat.” Digits snug tightly, appendages brought so to protect facial area. “Well well if it isn’t Haru. You saved me the trouble of beating your ass later. Your goody goody shit with the whole ‘Fight to protect not kill‘ bull shit dulls the hell outa me. A sword is meant to kill and nothing more. ” Kendo club senior member steps forward. “Just stay down.” Brief distraction, full attention held upon obstacles.
“Do you really think you can beat all five of us? I mean come on, your just one little kid. How dumb do you have..” “How about you shut up.” Did Haru hit a button? Oh he must hate being interrupted. Pin at the ready, an explosion ready. Lungs attempted sucking in thick air. Should Haru fight, this may end in disaster. Such humans held no contest against a sword factory, but Haru was no killer.
