Appearance:

He is 5'7'' and about 170 lbs. He has white, medium length hair that is usually kept spiked back. He usually wears white cloths with multiply chains and belts drapped from it. Although He'll wear the regular Shinigami outfit when neccisary


Under his clothes is a well toned body, although he isnt bulky, his muscles are easily seen without his shirt on.

After being appointed Kido Corps Captain Satsu wears a black hakuma with a tight blck sleevles shirt similar to what some of the Omnitsukido wear. On his back, in white, is the symbol of the kido corps.

Personality:

While in public he is a seemingly happy-go-lucky person, in private Satsu seems to have a very dark, depressed attitude. while he cant really explain why he is like that, it is another trait carried on from his life as a hollow.

Satsu also has a lack of respect, due to his isolation in the rukongai and the academy. He'll rarely adress his higher up with respect, only when he knows it could benifit him. He'll also call most of the captains by their first names.

Another result of his isolation was a need to stand out. Which is the main reason he doesnt like to wear the required Shinigami uniform because it makes him blend in with everyone else.

He gets childishly nervous around girls he finds pretty. He'll avoid eye contact. He also tends to stand behind someone if he can, rather then talk face to face. This general 'fear' of girls came from his lack of contact with everyone. Although lately he has been able to get over this 'fear'.

He has a few odd habits, such as tapping the blade of his Zanpakuto against somthing to make a ringing sound, something he finds relaxing. He'll also rattle the chains on his usual outfit for the same effect of relaxation. One reason he picked up these habits, although unknown to him, was that as a hollow he had chains draped from his arms and neck, and they rattled when he would devour souls.

He'll slao appear to be talking to himself every so often, but he's actually talking with his inner hollow.

While in battle he usually loses alot of emotion, usually only feeling great excitment, or pure bordom. He trys to stradegize, but most of the time just fights with pure instinct.

Usually in his sleep Satsu enters Hiryu's inner world, while this would be a great opportunity for most to train with their Zanpakuto spirit, Satsu usually just spends talking with Kinoshin, or eating.


Despite his ability to strategize and his great attention to detail, he appears to have a mild form of ADD. He gets bored rather easy and tends to find random things interesting and often wanders off to see them closer.

History:

Satsu died in a horrific car accident. He has an unatural level of reitsu for a human so hollows were attracted to him instantly. While runnign from the hollows, he got the idea to rip out the chain attached to his chest. He became a hollow and ate the other hollows that chased him.

For the next two hundred years he wandered Heuco Mundo, eating thousands of hollws. He soon became a Gillian class Menos, then Adjuchas. After becoming Adjuchas he sprouted blades from his wrists. A black one from his left and a white one from his right. The white blade was used to absord the spiritual energy from hollows and human souls, while the black one was used to destroy the energy from things he found unworthy to absorb. Unlike most hollows who just ate every soul they came across, Satsu would leave human souls with higher spiritual energy alone, and use them as bait for other hollows. After a long enough time he would devour the human soul aswell. On one trip to the world of the living, to absorb human souls, and other hollow that got in his way. Before he was able to become a Vasto Lorde a group of Captains were able to kill him.

After being reincarted and sent to the Rukongai, a small fraction of his hollow reitsu remained. His time in the Rukongai was spent alone, because almsot everyone thought he was weird since he talked to himself. Back then Satsu thought the voice he heard was the voice of his consious.

After graduation from the acadmy Satsu joined Divion 10, although wasnt giving a seat due to lack of ability. He has never really shown anyone what he is truely capible of because he thinks they arent worthy of seeing it, a trait carried on from his life as a hollow. He usually traing late at night when no one else is around. So far no one else is even aware that he knows his Zanpakuto's name.

After a short amount of time, he left the tenth squad after being approached about the posistion Kido Corps Captian. He know spends most of his time studying different kido, although he'll take a stroll by the tenth division quartars every now and then to see the familar faces.

Zanpakuto Spirit:

Hiryu is a large black and red dragon. He resides in a dim, murky cave. He has horns and is always emiting a heavy reiatsu that wieghs people down if they get near him.


He generally dislikes Satsu, complaining about how he got stuck with an amature like him., although has shown a slight respect for his recent growth in power.


Unlike alot of Zanpakuto spirits, Hiryu's reiatsu can be easily distinguished from Satsu's. Rarely will his and Satsu's reiatsu blend perfectly, but the result is a much higher amount of higher quality reiatsu.

Inner World:

A dark cave that seems to brach off in every direction with tunnles. Once navigated, a large egytion style chamber is found, with a sacrificial alter in the center with a tourch on each side.

Inner Hollow:

Kinoshin takes the appearence of Satsu in his normal outfit, only wearing the hollow mask. When Kinoshin takes over he uses a much different fighting style than Satsu. One main difference is that Kinoshin will wield his weapon in his left hand, instead of his right. He is also much more recklass because of his confidence in the High speed regeneration. When dormant he'll occasionally talk with Satsu about random things, although he calls Satsu moron in almost every conversation they have.

Kinoshin's inner world is an empty area of what seems to be Heuco Mundo.

As of Late Satsu has gained a fair amount of control over Kinoshin. Only going into a berserker state when Kinoshin thinks Satsu's death is imminant, although Kinoshin tends to take temporary control and talk through Satsu every now and then.

Hollow Mask:

It resembles a dragons' skull with two horns that are similar to Hiryu's. Its has black lines the run from the right eye and sprial up the right horn. It has red lines the do the same on the left side. The bottom is jagged with red and black tips.

Hollow Powers:

Cero - Just a run of the mill cero. Red, flashy, destructive. Nothing special. When channled through his bankai, it becomes black and white swirl like pattern, this does not increase the power of the cero.

High Speed Regeneration - While wearing his mask, Satsu is able to channle his reiatsu to the point of a wound and speed up the healing process. While bigger wounds cant be completely healed, he is able to stop or slow the bleeding.

Release Phrase:
Shikai Appearance:

After glowing with an eerie black light, Hiryu changes its shape into a six foot pitch black lance with a black steel double edges blade at the end. It has marking the run along the edge of the blade to the tip.

Shikai Abilities:

Amatsu Bakuha(Heavenly Blast) Satsu is able to throw a white, Bala like, orb at his target by gathering reiatsu at the tip of the blade. The orb explodes on contact. Focusing too much reiatsu with too little control can cause the orb to explode before thrown.

Bankai Appearance:

Monosugoi Hiryu(Earth Shattering Flying Dragon)
Satsu's bankai takes the appearence of a double edged sword, slightly longer then a regular katana. The blade looks like two katana blades, one white and one black, have intertwinded. The guard resembles what it used to look like before shikai release, only the diameter has increased a little, and its now a deep red.

Bankai Boost:

Satsu's is able to move at a slightly faster speed while using his bankai. The force behind any kido he using is also increased, although this mainly applies to Hado.

Bankai Abilities:

Zensho(Entirly Destroy)[Mastered] - By focusing reitsu into the blade Satsu can disintigrate anything the blade touches. Although it is later discovered that the attack doesnt disintigrates anything. It breaks down reishi and absorbs it, therefor things not made out of reishi are immune to the attack, and the more reishi the object it made out of, then harder it is to break down. While not really an attack, it can be used to break through barriers made out of reiatsu, this is also Satsu main defence from attacks like Kido, or attacks that are made from reiatsu. Because of his often use of it, this attack has become like second nature

Shinjinbukai Nami(Godly Wave)[Mastered]- An upgraded form of Amatsu Bakuha. The white blade glows and a pure white wave of reiatsu is released with a swing. Although pwerful, it is very limited with distance. At full strength it can go about one humdred fifty feet befor it disapates. Satsu is able to fire multiplie waves in quick succesion at the cost of alot more reiatsu then normal

Tenma Myaku(Demon Pulse)[Mastered] - A last resort attaack. The sword is held up and the black blade glows. Reishi from the surrounding area(anything in a twenty foot area) is quickly absorbed and then realesed in a massive pulse covering the same area that heavely damages everything around him, due to the nature of the attack. Although Satsu does hurt himself in this attack, the biggest drawback is that he is usually completely drained of energy, and his Zanpakuto is instantly reverted to the sealed state. This was later discovered to be an ability of his inner hollow, rather then an attack that came from his Zanpakuto spirit.

Meimei Doki(Divine Wrath)[Not Mastered] - The strongest attack in Satsu arsanal by far. Depending on which reiatsu is domonant at the time the blade will turn all one color. If Hiryu's is currently dominant the blade will turn white, if its Kinoshin's it will turn all black. If Satsu's is dominant then the blade turns a faint red. And if all three reiatsu are perfectly in sync the blade glimmers with a golden color, and its abilities vary depending on its color at the time of activation. While in any of the forms, Satsu cannot use any of the other abilities of his Bankai.

-White[Not Perfected]: In this form Satsu can emit large burst of concientrated rieatsu when the blade of his sword makes contact with somthing. This burst of reiatsu allows him to hit something with much more force then before, although this limits Satsu to short range combat, seeing as using kido would rapidly drain the stock pile of reiatsu. Satsu cannot be using any of Kinoshin's reiatsu for this form to activate.


-Black[Not Perfected]: In this form Satsu is able to send a burst of thin shards of rieatsu that embed in whatever they hit. They aren't too accurate, and they have very little killing capacity, but removing them from the body will cause the wound to bleed profusely. Aside from the weak attack, Satsu must also take a specific stance before each burst of shards, which makes his attacks very predictable, but it allows him to keep the fight at a longer range then before. Satsu must have to full hollow mask on to use this form.


-Faint Red[Perfected]: This is the only 'form' where his sword gets no added abilities. All the rieatsu previously absorbed with Zenshou is used to amplifie Satsu's Kido, of course due his habit of using high level kido this form is usually the most short lived, so Satsu usually ensures a hit with first and upgraded Bakudou, followed by hadou. Satsu cannot be using any of Kinoshin's reiatsu to use this form.


-Golden[Refuses to Perfect]: Satsu decribes this as his Bankai's true form. Disliking what his Bankai's true purpose was, Satsu has restrained the full abilities of this form, using it only for binding his target. In this form a dark blue aura of reitsu surrounds the blade. With a swing of the sowrd Satsu can send wires from the blade to the target, so long as its within a thirty feet. The wires are incredibly dence making them very hard to break with strength alone. Satsu will usually thrust the sword in the ground after entagleing his opponent, then while they're immobilized, he'll use a cero, or strong kido. In its true form, Hiryu destruction nature become pefectly clear. The wires now resemble about five vines of a rose bush with large thorns. When he points the blade at his target and with the command "Devour him/her" the vines will lash out at the target. Any vines that connect will slowy burrow into the target. Causeing excruciating pain while it burrows deeper into their body. Despite the increased killing capacity the vine are much more fragile then before, After about thirty seconds the vines begin to rot away, leaving holes where they burrowing into the target. Satsu has stated on multiple occasions that he hates Hiryu for even possesing such an attack. Satsu will refuse to use this forms true power unless someone he holds near and dear would die otherwise. When activated there is a large spike in Satsu reiatsu for a breif amount of time. The dark blue aura around the sword will spiral around the blade wildly. Once active Satsu has one shot, wether it misses or connects after that one shot Satsu will pass out from the strain and his Zanpakuto will return to its sealed state. Since Satsu greatly reduces the abilities of this form, its the only one he can remain cousious after the reiatsu stockpile has been used up, unless its true ability was used. Satsu will usually fight in this form wearin his usually smile and laughing throughout the fight, although only a look of despare is seen if he uses its true abilities. Because this form requires all three reiatsu to be in sync, Satsu must be wearing the full hollow mask to even have a chance at using this form of the Meimei Doki.

His patients was wearing thin. They were members of the kido corps! This should be a relativly simple execution! "Okay! Everyone stop, I'll show you all again!" With steady, hard footsteps, he walked infront of the line of shinigami, all practicing their kido. "Now, I understand that kido allows you to fight at long range, however you must be prepared should it turn into a close range battle. I dont expect you to become masters of hand to hand combat, however learning to use kido in an effectively in a close range situation is required." With a large sigh he looked up at the sky. None of my seated officers showed up. That means I have to teach them on....was that a butterfly? Bah, focus! Where was I? I need to teach them. Most of them are fresh recruits, so I shouldnt teach them advanced move right from the start. Thoughts ran through his head on what to show them. New recruits were often very predictable. If he were to put on some flashy display far beyond their level, the more novice ones were sure to attempt it themselve, then they were libel to get hurt. "Thats it! A few low level kido, plus some basic hand to hand movements would be simple, easy, yet effective. Everything suddenly clicked as a huge grin spread across his face.

"Alright! I'll show you some basic things by example. Uhhh, you!" The excitment in his voice seemed to unnerve his subordnants as he pointed at a timid looking girl who jumped back as she realized he had addressed her. "I want you to attack me. Use whatever you like. The strongest kido you know, your fists, your Zanpakuto. Hell, grab one of your team mates and throw them at me if you like." The confidence in his voice was matched in his eyes as the timid girl simply stuttered inaudible nonesense.

"Peeshaw! I'll go if the baby is too scared to fight the captain!" A shrill arrogant voice boomed through the areas as the look on Satsu's faced seemed to turn more serious, as if this kid had insulted him somehow. But that wasnt it. It was that one word. Captain. I am the captain now arent I? And this one. He's a wild one alright. No doubt about it. Narrowing his eyes, Satsu quickly gauged the younge man's capibilities. He's fresh from the academt, but he has talent. Thirty-seven. If I had to guess I'd say thats the highest he's capible of by skipping the incantation. With the incantation, I'd say about fifty-three. It seemed like a mere instant that he was able to calculate the boy's power and analysehis capibilities.

"Heh its over before it started. One of the few senior members that showed up spoke with a smile on his face as he put his hand on the girl's shoulder. "A word to the wise rookie. When our Taichou makes that face, you better hope you're not the one he's up against."

"What do you mean?" She had finally spoken after all this time, confused at how a mere face could make such a difference. she eyed the Satsu curiously. Something did feel different, as if the air around him changed.

"Wait for it...." As anticipated by the senior a small smirk spread across Satsu's face as the air around him seemed to shift again."There we go, now just watch. I hope you dont think he made Kido Taichou just cause he can use high level kido. No, its how he uses it."

"Alright kid, come on. Dont think I"ll let you back after talkin' so high and mighty. You're seeing this through to the end, even if I make you cry." His joyous voiced was almost a yell as he waited for the first move to be made, still wearing his usual smile. "And dont bother telling me your name. Until you can lay a hand on me, you are Nameless henchmen number Five Thirty-two. Ya got that?" A small laugh emitted from the rest of the students. "So Five Thirty-Two. Make the first move."

"Nice bluff, but the first move has already been made." The senior smiled as he and the girl watched Satsu closely. "O dont get it, what first move? Did he already cast a kido or something?" She asked still trying to wrap her head around what he could have possible done without even moving. "I told you, he's out Taichou because of how he does things. The first move was not a physical one, but a psychological one. Just watch, you'll understand soon enough."

"You'll pay for that you bastard!" With those rather loud words the arogant boy viciously ran at Satsu, falling for the mental assault Satsu had issued. WIth a mild change in stance, Satsu held his left arm at an upward angle to defend his head and upper torso, and hi sright arm out of his attackers site behind him.

" Now pay close attention everyone." Muttering something underhis breath, his stance changed ever so slightly, his left arm raised a little higher then back, as the boy drew near. Suddenly an unseen force struck his gut and he was seen floating in the air, held up by something unkown. "Aheh." His right arm became visible , with his fist imbedded in the boy's gut.

"H-how?" He managed to get that one word out as he gasped for air. Everyone was seemed dumbfounded aside from the few members that had already seen the trick before.

"Very simple. You see, the untrained eye is draw to movement. So while you were busy subconciously focusing on my left arm, I struck you with my right arm. Or course that alone wouldnt be enough to fool someone so I added a twist. By altering the field around me that I was casting my kido on, I am able to mask only small parts of my body at a time, rendering them completely invisible. This however is still not enough, for even someone without a trained eye would notice a limb that had suddenly gone missing. So I needed to take it one step further. Bakudo Twenty-Sixx: Kyakko. Do you know how it works?" His rather long explanation came to end witha question that would surely lead to another question, or anotehr long explanation. But he had everyone's attention. They were on the edge of their seats, so to speak, all eyes were focused solely on Satsu and nothing else. He managed to foll just about everyone, and he was going to reveal his secret? Only a fool would miss an opportunity to learn one of their captain's tricks.

"It makes us invisible and masks are rieatsu." He was hardly able to a sentences before his felt Satsu's fist turning in his gut and heard heard words uttered that made him cringe. " Hado One: Sho" A sudden thrust of reiatsu threw him to teh ground as Satsu's smile from before disappeared.

" I asked how. But you get a few points for your answer. It maskes are presense by bending the light around us. Therefor, if one is skilled enough they can not only make themselves unseen, but appear as someone else. Though even I am incapible of using it to that degree. I bent the light to hide not my arm, but its movements, until the very last second. You see, even to te on lookers, my arm appeared to be behind my back right up until I released the kido. I'll admit even that is fairly difficult.I expect more from you next time. If the same trick works on you again Five Thirty-Two, expect double chores around the quartors for a month." He stated the punishment almost like a joke as his big grin returned to his face. Turning to the rest of the members he threw up his arms. "Okay! Thats it for today, remember, fundementals and all the good stuff, lets go eat everyone!" It had seemed he had forgotten exactly what he had set out to teach his students that day. Oh well, typical Satsu.
