The movement inside the lab was usually accompanied with a loud clicking noise of wooden shoes on hard floors. The sound was nothing but intensified if the door was left open, which it was. However, the woman's movements inside caused no such noise, though she moved across the room at high speeds and stepped the same as any other person that walked into the lab. Closer inspection of her noise-less-ness could reveal what anyone with any knowledge of the woman would know - she wasn't wearing shoes.
Yuzuki Kanamade didn't wear shoes unless she had to. And since she was the third seat of the 12th division, there were just a few people that could challenge her on that. Unfortunately for her, they were the people that she dealt with on a daily basis, and thus, she had to wear shoes. There was a sigh as she finished whatever menial task she'd been doing - filing paperwork, writing reports... something of that sort. She didn't really know. After almost one hundred years, it all became rather automatic.
Coal-colored eyes peered out the open door, head peaking around the corner. Good, no one was coming. The lab was empty... she could leave now. She turned on her heel, black braid making a swishing noise as it cut through the air. Without an audible sound other than her breathing, she retrieved her shoes from their place under her desk and made sure everything was right in her world, then left the lab, closing it down for security reasons.
After all, couldn't let just anyone in their lab, now, could they? Kurotsuchi-taicho wouldn't be happy if that happened, and him not being happy resulted in... odd things. She padded down the hallway, still barefoot, a small stack of paperwork nestled against her chest as she walked. They had to be taken to another office to be filed - another pain.
A small sigh lilted from her lips, and she wondered vaguely where everyone was. Had she just stayed later than usual in the lab, and everyone else gone back to their own places, or was there something going on that she should have known about? She shrugged, figuring it was the first. She rolled her shoulders, popping her neck in the process and continued on her way down the hall, barefoot.
