Up on one of the rooftops, a blonde figure sat on the edge of a building, her arms crossed underneath a rather impressive bust, and her legs hanging off the side. The four of them, and by four, she meant herself and her three Fraccion, were sent to the human world to do some scouting. Just what kind of scouting, she didn't know, but she figured that they were looking for anything that seemed unusual, possibly about that Kurosaki boy Grimmjow so eagerly wanted to fight again.
Not only that, but they were also ordered to be discreet, which meant that they needed to use Gigais. Halibel didn't really have much against gigais, they were just so restricting. And besides, as if a dark-skinned, big-breasted, scantily-clad woman with messy blonde hair was discreet. Actually, compared to her Arrancar form, her clothing wasn't that much different. A small v-neck rugby shirt that cut off just beneath where her original jacket did, tan capri cargo pants and white sneakers replaced her usual attire. She had gotten hold of a pale blue scarf that she wrapped around the lower half of her face and would've covered her mask, had she been out of the gigai. Seeing her face without the mask and without releasing her sword was an odd experience.
She had sent Mila-Rose, Apache and Sun-Sun out hours ago, telling them to watch for anything strange, and also gave them some human money. Since they were in the Human world anyway, might as well give them time to relax. Surprisingly, there wasn't a lot of strong spiritual presences nearby, maybe only a handful. But still, she always remained alert...just in case they ran into anyone from the Winter War.
After all, Tia Halibel wasn't exactly forgettable.

Hitsugaya Lilly, new captain of Squad 10. She was still getting use to this title. It was in this exact place that her father, had been killed in the Winter Wars. She sighed, but her voice quivered as a single tear fell down the side of her face. She had been promoted to Captain shortly after her death, to keep his legacy going. Because of that promotion, she was in Karakura Town scouting for the Arrancar. She didn't sense any immediately so she started to walk around.
She walked to the glass of a shoe store and looked at her gigai clothes. She has a yellow belly shirt showing much of her stomach, obviously, and a knee-length yellow skirt with green fringes. It was doing this that she first noticed the Arrancar on top of the building. She saw her in the mirror, but didn't really process the image. She took a few steps, stopped, and walked back to the mirror. She looked closely and realized that it was indeed an Arrancar. More importantly she felt that she had seen her somehow.
She realized after moments of pondering that the woman had been described to her. After the Winter War her lieutenant, Matsumoto Rangiku, had described to her the appearance of the one who killed her father. Dark skin, big bust, and her clothes were almost the same too. She narrowed her eyes and quickly jumped out of her gigai. She drew her Zanpakuto and released it's shikai without even calling it's name.
"Hello Tia Halibel, you killed my father. Now I'll kill you!" She roared and sent a blast of water aimed toward her throat.

Water was her weapon.
So it was no surprise that as soon as Halibel heard the familiar sound of rushing water, she slid off the side of the building, dropping off her gigai in the process. She didn't care that it fell lifelessly in the middle of the street. She'd never use it anyway. She skidded in the air, her reiatsu keeping her aloft as she looked at the Shinigami that attacked her.
"Who are you?" she asked in a monotone, "I don't think we've met, although it's apparent you already know my name."
She put her finger on the hole in her sword's guard, ready to pull it out any second. Taking a good look at the Shinigami, she noticed the haori that she wore. A captain. Not only that, but there was a sash across her chest, with an ornament that Halibel so clearly remembered. The blonde arrancar closed her eyes. "I see."
It was enough of a reason to unsheathe her sword. She pulled it out, giving it a little twirl in mid-air before holding the grip, as she always did. "You are that white-haired captain's daughter, am I correct? And you wish to avenge him. I will not deny you that, but will your hate of me be enough? I no longer work for Aizen, but that has no meaning to you, does it?" she said calmly. She didn't blame her for wanting to kill her, in fact, Halibel herself wanted to do the same when she thought her Fraccion died. She opened her eyes, locking onto the shinigami. "Come, Shinigami."

She scoffed as Halibel gracefully dodged her attack, and dropped her gigai to the streets below. She gripped her pitchfork typed weapon tighter and she shook her head, letting her dirty blonde hair fall off of her shoulders. She mearly grimaced as the woman asked who she was. She sent a weak blast of water toward her leg as her answer, but not taking her eyes off of the woman for a second.
She un-sheathed her sword, and closed her eyes in concentration. Apparently she either knew who she was or remembered her father. However, the fact that she had to think about him only angered her more. She gripped her weapon tighter and tighter until she could feel the blood fall. She finally loosened her grip, and let out a deep breath.
"My hatred be enough? Of course. Captain Soifon told me of how you all had your Aspects of death. Yours was Sacrifice, was it not? Well I will not let my father's sacrifice go carelessly! You can go to hell with Aizen for all I care!" She screamed at the dark skinned woman and slashed her weapon in the air.
She concentrated her reiatsu and used the water from the sewers as a weapon. She hated to use such un-sanitary sources, but she didn't see any other water nearby.
"Mizu Tama! She screamed as the water formed into small bullets and rushed toward the woman.

Halibel hopped over the small blast of water that was aimed at her feett. So, the Ice Dragon's daughter also used her element of choice. This would be very interesting. But there was also the fact that the Captain was angry. When fighting, one should always have a clear mind. Anger would lead to mistakes, a weakness that could easily be used against her. "How you know about my former Aspect, I don't know, or care. But if you also manipulate water, then you should know just what I am capable of."
As the water bullets rushed her way, Halibel slipped between them, the sound of her sonido echoing through the air as she dodged the water, appearing between the projectiles. "It appears you need water around you for your abilities to be effective. That will be the deciding factor in this battle."
She drew her sword back, gathering her reiatsu within her sword. "Ola Azul." A yellow burst of energy shot out from her sword, aimed straight at the Captain. As soon as it was fired, Halibel trailed close behind it, ready to make a strike as soon as the initial Ola Azul dissipated. And even if she dodged, she readied another Ola Azul within her blade, just in case.

Her plan was working decisively and she was so happy she could grin. Yes, she was angry beyond belief and ready for revenge. But her opponent was a former Espada, and was able to kill her father. So of course she was going to be cautious of her movements. Unfortunately for Tia Halibel, Lilly had been readily prepped on her techniques immediately after her father's death. Hopefully, this meant she had an advantage.
When she blasted the wave of reiatsu from her blade she did a back flip and summoned a rush of water up to attempt to protect her. It work slightly, but it exploded with the water and blew her back. When she saw Halibel, she gasped and used Shunpo to narrowly escape. She still laughed though, and she put a hand to her head.
"Well Halibel, it seems you figured out my powers...however, I already know all about yours. Ola Azul, a wave of reiatsu shot from the hollow of your blade. You Zanpakuto's name, Tiburon, and the release command is "Ute". When you release you gain immense speed, and strength. Your techniques are Hiriviendo, which boils ice into water. La Gota, a destructive blast of water fired from your blade in the form of a shark tooth. And Cascada, a torrent of water...the same move you killed my father with..." Her voice quivered toward the end, and she stopped talking.
She glared at the woman, as her resolve was only strengthened. However, she needed a source of water to battle on even grounds with the water. She pointed outward and used her index and middle fingers to tell her to follow. With that, she began using Shunpo to go to the ocean.

Halibel said nothing when the captain dodged her attack. As expected, Shinigami Captains had very good evasive skills. "You are well informed," she remarked after she basically recited just about all Halibel's techniques, including her zanpakuto's name and release phrase, "Although I was under the assumption that dead men tell no tales. Nevertheless, knowledge about your opponent is different from first-hand experience. I will teach you that, Captain."
She followed Hitsugaya towards the ocean, inwardly thinking about how shamefully pathetic it was that she needed a source of water, unlike her father. "Is it wise to lead me to a large body of water?" she asked as she stopped, standing across from the captain. The city was behind her, and now that she thought about it, perhaps she could use it to her advantage. After all, the difference between (most) Arrancar and (most) Shinigami was the subject of human life. Arrancar lived to take it, and Shinigami lived to save it. She would use that trait to turn this battle in her favour, though from the way things were going, she might not really need that leverage.
"Here. You have your water. Prove to me that you are worthy to avenge your father's death." She said, holding her sword up, showing the yellow energy that was still gathered in the hollow of her sword, "Come, Shinigami."

She cocked her head to the side as the Arrancar mentioned how knowledge and experiance were different. She scoffed, and let out a bark. "Of course. You have knowledge of how you killed my father, and now you'll experiance death first hand!....again," she said hatefully.
They made it to the Ocean, and she inhaled the lovely scent. Of course the reason why she had chosen the area was not simply for the sake of her Zanpakuto's abilities. She had chosen this area to become isolated, allowing her to use her Gentei Kaijou. She swung her blade around until the small mic in her ear buzzed.
She wasn't going to use it yet, but she had to be prepared for her Ressurccion. She went to the surface of the water and stood on it. "Now here's another thing my father and I have in common...Bankai!" She roared as the water swirled up and surrounded her.
Her blade became longer and sharper, with the arrow tip end becoming a swirled tip. The red fur around her blade becomes blue, and her round shield becomes longer with a red jewel in the center. The water stays in place, circling her almost in an orbit typed fashion. "Hofuku Kobura Ranpu!" She screamed her Bankai's name.
She sighed as if she were tired then using her shunpo, appeared five feet behind Halibel. "Mizu Rasen!" She roared and slashed toward the woman, the water around her then made a tunnel like appearance heading straight for the woman. Just for a little speed burst she used Hado Number 1: Sho.

Halibel remained silent as the captain released her Bankai. Like father like daughter, she supposed. She was interested at what hers could do, considering that both of them used water as a weapon. Though whether her Bankai would be as powerful as her fathers, that was questionable. Unlike him, who was calm and collected, analyzing her moves and concocting ways to counter them, this one was quick to anger.
"Bankai? At this early in the battle?" she asked, throwing her sword and catching it, with the blade pointing at the water, "Very well. Since you already know so much about me, then I have no reason to hide my power. Ute, Tiburon."
The cocoon of water enclosed her just as the tunnel of water made impact. The two waters canceled each other out, just as a large, white pata cut through the waters, revealing Halibel's Ressureccion form. She said nothing as she raised the blade, channeling her reiatsu through it. "You are not the only one that can manipulate water, Captain. Cascada." she said, releasing a titanic surge of water directly at the captain. This one was larger than usual, only because there was more water to work with. The captain would be defeated with her own element.

She looked away as she released her Bankai. Yes it was early to release her Bankai, however she had two reasons for doing so. The first reason was that her father released his Bankai early in their battles early too. Her second reason was that her shikai wasn't strong enough too fend off the Arrancar. To gain control of the battle she needed her ban-... Oh hell.
She released her Ressurccion, now the odds would be even. "Of course I'm not the only one who can manipulate water. However the strategic difference is that I know how your abilities work," she smiled at the womanly, sickly sweet.
When the Cascada came at her she yawned, first she brought up a shield of water, then used her shield to block the rest. It was actually pretty tough, and she almost didn't block it. She used her reiatsu to block the rest that she couldn't handle, and began to spin her pitch fork typed blade. She kept spinning it as a large layer of water covered the top of it.
"Mizu Doragon!" She roared as the water transformed into 3 dragons that began to rush toward the woman. She gripped the handle on her shield tightly ready to defend for her next possible move.
She looked at the clouds, and began preparation for her victory. The attribute that Tia Halibel killed her father with would be the same that would be her undoing.

Halibel inwardly smirked when the Captain found difficulty in blocking her Cascada. Her father couldn't, what made her think she could? She could certainly talk big, though she wondered if it was just an act. If that was all she was capable of, then she wasn't even worth killing. Halibel could simply end the fight then and there, but she knew she shouldn't. The captain would only end up getting angrier.
No, she'll teach her a lesson.
When the water dragons came her way, Halibel really couldn't help but raise a curious eyebrow. "Dragons? You two really are interesting," she said, pointing the pata at the dragons, "Hirviendo" she said, boiling the approaching dragons into harmless water around her.
"You attack with water. If that's the case, then your attacks will never reach me." she stated, the sentence an almost exact copy of what Hitsugaya Sr. told her when they fought. "Have your simply forgotten? The time you implement your greatest technique is the time of greatest crisis."
Swinging her pata in a large arc, she sent a wave of water towards the Captain. Quoting the late Hitsugaya alone should have triggered something, which would cause more anger. More anger, less planning, meaning more mistakes. She would use her anger against her.

She smiled as Harribel noted how her and her father were quit similar. it was true that her father had also implemented his ice to look like dragons. However, Harribel was making errors left and right and Lilly couldn't help but laugh. First of all, she wasn't fighting full force yet because she wanted to see all of the arrancar's techniques first hand. Harribel's Hiriviendo boiled down her water dragon's into harmless water, like expected. She had already saw Cascada, one more and her abilities would have all been unleashed.
She smiled as Harribel noted how Lilly's attacks would never reach her. both of them were cocky, and it would be one of their un-doings. However, Lilly had to make Harribel pay for killing her father. She gripped her Bankai's blade and readied herself. She gasped as Harribel dared to quote her father. She twitched, and tried to calm down.
As the water dashed toward her, she lifted her shield. The red gem on the shield began to glow and the water bubbled. She lifted her shield high above her head, and the water jumped to the clouds.
"Oten!" she screams and the clouds darken.
Not wasting any time, Lilly sends two waves of water racing toward Harribel. As long as the arrancar didn't spend too much time watching her technique, she will never figure it out.

Halibel scoffed, noticing at how Hitsugaya the younger reacted. Yes, her father was probably a very touchy subject...she would take that against her.
But the way she blocked her attack was interesting. She might have to watch out for that one...whatever it was.
As the two waves rushed towards her, Halibel raised her pata and sliced through it, turning the water into little, harmless droplets. It seemed that they might have reached a stalemate when it came to manipulating water. There was no doubt in her mind that between the two of them, hers would be the more powerful one, but throwing water back and forth wouldn't be very much of a fight.
No, she would test this young captain. If she wanted revenge, she would need to do more than fling water her way.
Gripping the pata, Halibel sonidoed in front of her opponent and swung the sword horizontally, before making quick jabs with the large weapon. With a final stab, she leapt back and held her massive sword out. "Cero." she said as a yellow ball of energy formed, before spreading around the sword, glowing yellow. With a huge swing of her sword, Halibel fired the massive Cero towads the captain.
If she recalled correctly, the elder Hitsugaya had trouble with her Cero. Halibel wondered how his daughter would manage as she swung the pata one last time to rid it of excess energy.

She scoffed as the dark-skinned Arrancar studied her movements. She looked into her eyes, and was disgusted by the cockiness that was radiating off of her. It was driving her insane, but she had to calm down. A few more minutes, and the rain would fall. After that, she could release her limiter and then show the Arrancar true power.
She looked up, and cracked her neck. It was going to be a long fight.
The moment she heard the static sounding noise, she ducked and used her shunpo to get out of the proximity. Sure enough, the woman followed, jabbing her gigantic weapon. It took quite a lot of effort, using her blade to parry and her shield to block. However, the maneuver was effective and she remained uninjured. She was so worried about what to do next, that the final stab actually hit her in her stomach.
She coughed up blood, then used her shunpo to jump back wards. The woman then shot off a large cero, and Lilly cursed. She took a deep breath, and summoned water. She swung with it, and it formed a large drill like item.
"Mizu Rasen! Hado Number 33: Soukatsui!" she cried out and sent the kido after the woman.
She wasn't naive or stupid, the woman was waiting to crush Lilly with one giant water technique, and she wasn't going to have that. She raised two fingers and took a deep breath...
Ye lord..." she started and continued the incantation.

Halibel said nothing as the final stab made contact, causing the young captain to cough up blood. Her evasive skills were good, not as well honed as her father's, but good enough to block off most of her attacks. And the way she deflected her cero was...interesting, to say the least. Normal people would've moved away; try to get out of the cero's range, but this one used water against it.
Perhaps she wasn't as weak as first anticipated.
The water drill headed her way, as well as a blue ball of energy Halibel recognized as one of those Kido spells. "Hirviendo." she said, boiling the water drill into harmless particles, before sonidoing out of the Kido's way. Turning back to the Captain, she noticed that she began another one of those incantations. While she knew that Kido could be powerful, the time it took to say those incantations were long and tedious. Concentration was necessary...one large downside.
The former Tercera disappeared with a sonido, only to re-appear behind the Captain, sword held out and ready to strike.
